Sometimes when I have a long flight to somewhere, I wonder, how will I pass my time? But then I remember, Entertainment is waiting for me during travel itself.
So let me share one of my experiences of Travelling by air.
"Reach the airport one hour prior to departure, check-in the bags and wait at the departure hall." This is the procedure everyone follows very peacefully and quietly. Then begins the entertainment.
At the departure hall, everyone is very happy to travel by air but still makes a face like they have been raped.
Till the end moment, no one will know which gate will the boarding commence, as on the boarding pass, it is written "GATE-GATE." Now lets wonder which is
gate number gate?
After finding your Gate, when you reach the departure hall.
You can see everyone roaming here and there waiting for the gates to open.
They became so restless that you can hear comments like, "Yaar! plane toh lag gaya aab toh gate khol do."
Indian Passengers will always remain railway passengers. In 7Kg handbag, they carry so much stuff that it looks like a railway luggage. Air-hostess too gets confused, 'where to fit this bulky handbag.'
And after asking, you could have checked-in the baggage we hear the replies, "Sometimes things are needed." And honestly, I never saw anyone opening that huge handbag throughout the travels.
Above them all there are people stupid enough to switch on their cell phones in the middle of the flight to check weather they are getting signal or not.
And as the announcement is made, "We are about to land, kindly close all your electronic gadgets and continue to keep mobiles in switched off state," people take out their mobile phones and start playing Candy Crush.
Right before landing? "Aaj toh yeh plane crash kerwaker he rahunga mei."
Last but not the least, As soon as the aeroplane lands, everyone gets up, grab their bags and creates a rush. Even before the gate is opened.
At the end when we are waiting for the luggage at the belt, the passengers who carried whole luggage in-flight gives us a victorious look.

Really in all this, We really loose the track of time and get to the destination very entertained.
